DD POSTER [5-4}.jpg

"Daddy Daze" is a profoundly personal project that delves into the complexities of culture, family, and masculinity, drawing from my own experiences and conflicts with my Nigerian heritage. Growing up in a household influenced by Nigerian culture, I often found myself torn between traditional expectations and the desire to forge my own path in a rapidly changing world. This inner conflict, combined with my experiences as a father and husband, serves as the inspiration behind this comedic exploration of modern fatherhood and masculinity.

Through "Daddy Daze," I aim to not only entertain but also to provoke thought and discussion about the evolving dynamics of family life in multicultural societies like Britain. The protagonist, Darrel, represents the universal struggles faced by individuals caught between cultural heritage and modernity, as he grapples with the pressure to conform to traditional roles while navigating the complexities of contemporary family dynamics.
